Leanne is an actor, comedian and maker of things newly based in Los Angeles.
In the city of angels, she has created and thrice sold out her solo show EXHAUSTION POWER HOUR at The Elysian & The Broadwater, originated the role of Tommy Caldwell in a sold out run of Free Solo: The Musical, her online content has reached 1.5 million view and growing, and her latest short film, Bike Thief, premiered on NoBudge after a sold-out in person screening. Leanne often pops back to NYC where she co-runs Backyard Show, a consistently sold-out, comedy show at Union Hall in Brooklyn & gorgeous backyards everywhere and her new bi-weekly LA show, Big Sour Hour, is the best hang in show around. You can see her performing characters, stand-up, and clown all over the world* (*NY and LA). She’s been on the grand stages of Dynasty Typewriter, The Elysian, The Bell House, Union Hall, Littlefield, and The Brooklyn Comedy Collective to name a few.
Leanne made her Off-Broadway debut in the critically acclaimed hit, Puffs. And has had her comedic work featured on WhoHaHa and Funny Or Die, as well as showcases such as QuickieFest, Never Sad and VideoClub. She’s written for WhoHaHa, Little Old Lady, TheEconomist.com, and Start Up Late Night. She was accepted into the highly competitive Onion Writers Workshop, and is a featured creator with Rizzle.TV (1.6M views). Leanne graduated from Tisch’s Experimental Theatre Wing, which is why she likes to sit on floors and won’t shut up about revelation of space.
